Whenever you optimize assets, push code refactors, or deploy server enhancements, you can mark specific scans as Milestone Baselines. EnSightX™ will compute delta metrics comparing subsequent audits against that milestone baseline.

🏷️ Setting a Milestone Baseline

To establish a point of comparison before or after an engineering sprint:

  1. Run a full audit on your target URL.
  2. In the audit header actions, click Set as Milestone Baseline.
  3. Enter a descriptive tag (e.g., Pre-Migration Baseline, Sprint 4 Hero Image WebP Conversion, or Q3 CDN Rollout).
  4. Save the milestone. This snapshot is permanently preserved in your domain's historical archive.

📈 Automatic Improvement Deltas Engine

Once a baseline is locked, every subsequent scan calculates positive and negative progression:

  • Core Web Vitals Deltas: Real-time millisecond changes in LCP, CLS shift reduction, and FCP speedups.
